Paul Kalemba is an award-winning first-generation Australian artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores moments where the familiar becomes extraordinary.
Working across sculpture, painting, photography and video, Kalemba creates works that reveal hidden relationships between people, landscape and the more-than-human world. Drawing on observation, objects, natural science, mythology and phenomena, the practice explores how by changing perception, familiar forms become catalysts for curiosity, inviting moments of wonder, reflection and connection.
Kalemba’s public artworks, sculptures and paintings are represented in public, institutional and private collections in Australia and internationally.
